How To Knit a Sweater Class

Have you wanted to knit a sweater but not sure where to start? Then this is the class for you! Learn to make a pieced sweater that can be made in your choice of lengths. This is an Advanced Intermediate Level class that will meet every other week and students will need to complete specific sections between each class meeting in order to complete the project. Students must be proficient in the long tail cast on, the knit and purl stitches, increasing, decreasing, and using stitch markers. The fee of $60 for this class includes the pattern and instruction. Supplies needed are between 1,508 and 2,262 yards of DK weight yarn (depending on which style and what size you choose), US size 6 and size 3 needles (or size needed to achieve gauge), stitch markers, and darning needle; supplies must be purchased separately. Class size is limited to 5 students.
